I always put off things I want! But more importantly I seem to put off things I need to do. Not on purpose, but it happens. Time just goes by faster than I’m able to think clearly about it.

What a blessing to have the opportunity to gather your family and treat them to a fun event. I have wanted to take a class but like you it just hasn't worked out timing, budget, blah, blah, blah. Feel free to share liberally as I would delight in sharing the experience with you.
